Privacy Policy

RepSaver for iPhone

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This policy describes the RepSaver iPhone app. 1dot.ai operates the app. RepSaver is not medical advice, does not host video, and does not require an account. Additional terms are in the app under Settings, Terms. Pasting a link in the app accepts Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Sharing uses the public link you choose.

Who operates RepSaver

1dot.ai operates the RepSaver app. The app has no login. There is no RepSaver account on a server. RepSaver offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold through Apple in-app purchase. Privacy questions go to the contact address at the end of this policy.

What stays on your iPhone

RepSaver stores the following on this iPhone, including in storage shared by the app and the share extension:

  • The public workout link you share or paste.
  • The exercise list, sets, reps, notes, titles, and creator name saved for that workout.
  • Boards (the plans you keep), rest times, and exercise order.
  • Session history: which plan you finished, how many exercises you marked done, and when.
  • A preview image from the public page, when the page offers one. This is not the video.
  • Text that arrived with the share, such as a caption the share sheet included, kept with that workout on this phone.
  • Whether you have already seen the intro.

That information is not uploaded as a profile. The app does not download the source video. RepSaver does not keep a copy of it and does not offer save-to-camera-roll.

If you tap Paste, RepSaver reads the clipboard at that moment so it can fill in a link. The share extension reads only the link and text you choose to share, and writes them into the app's storage on this iPhone.

What is sent off your iPhone

When RepSaver reads a shared or pasted workout, the app sends only the link to RepSaver's extract service. It does not send an account, an email address, a name you registered, an advertising identifier, or the video file. The app does not receive the video back.

The phone may also request the public page itself, to read a title and a preview image. That request goes to the site that published the page. RepSaver refuses video responses for that request.

When you tap Watch, or otherwise open the workout, your phone leaves RepSaver and opens the link in the browser or in the app that owns it.

Subscription and paywall

RepSaver uses Superwall to show the subscription paywall and to check whether a subscription is active. The Superwall SDK sends Superwall an anonymous app user ID that Superwall creates, the identifier for vendor, the app and iOS versions, paywall events such as a paywall being shown or closed, and purchase and subscription status. RepSaver does not give Superwall a name, an email address, or your workouts. Superwall uses this data to run the paywall and to report paywall and subscription analytics to RepSaver. It is not linked to an account, because there is none, and it is not used for advertising or tracking.

Apple processes the payment. RepSaver and Superwall do not receive your payment details. Manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings.

What the extract service does

RepSaver's extract service runs on AWS Lambda. It uses the link to read the public post: the page, the caption, the audio, and a few frames. It returns workout text (a title, a short description, and an exercise list). Temporary media used for that read is deleted on the service before the request finishes. The service does not return the video, and the app does not store it.

The service sends the public caption, a transcript of the audio, and those frames to its processor, OpenAI, to produce the exercise text. OpenAI receives that material for the request. RepSaver does not send OpenAI an account, because the app has none. RepSaver deletes its own temporary files when the request finishes. This policy does not control how long OpenAI keeps its copy of a request.

The service accepts only public https links on hosts it allows. If the service cannot be reached, RepSaver can still save the link and any text already on the phone. It still does not download the video.

Notifications

Notifications are local to this iPhone. RepSaver asks permission to notify you when a new workout plan is ready. Tapping the notification opens that plan in RepSaver. RepSaver does not use remote push, and it does not send a device token to a server.

Tracking, advertising, and sale of data

RepSaver does not track you across apps or websites. It does not use advertising or an advertising identifier. The only analytics are the paywall and subscription analytics described above. It does not sell your data, and it does not share data for advertising or marketing.

The link is sent only so the extract service can return a workout. That is app functionality, not tracking.

Third parties

  • Apple provides the App Store, the device, on-device storage, and local notifications. Apple's terms apply to the license of the app.
  • The site or app that hosts the workout (the public page you linked, such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, or another host the extract service accepts). Their policy applies when your phone requests that page and when you open the link.
  • Superwall, which runs the subscription paywall, as described above. Superwall's privacy policy is at superwall.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • The extract processor, OpenAI, as described above. RepSaver's extract service is the only RepSaver service the app contacts, and the app contacts it with the link. Apart from Superwall and the extract service, the app does not send data to other services.

How long data is kept

Workouts, boards, session logs, preview images, and the saved-link index stay on this iPhone until you delete a workout, use Delete account, or delete the app.

RepSaver does not keep a server account or a stored copy of the video. Temporary media on the extract service is deleted when the request finishes. The link is used to service that request. It is not kept as a user profile.

Superwall keeps paywall and subscription data under its own retention policy. That data is tied only to the anonymous ID Superwall created.

Children

RepSaver is not directed at children under 13. RepSaver does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Not medical advice

RepSaver is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or tell you how to train. A workout list is text taken from a public post you chose, stored on your iPhone so you can follow it.

Deletion

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. That erases the workouts, boards, session logs, preview images, and the saved-link index stored for RepSaver on this iPhone. There is no server account to remove. Deleting the RepSaver app also removes the data stored with it. Delete account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store account settings.
