Grass X Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Grass X (“the App”), listed on the App Store as “Grass Identifier: Grass X Scan” and developed by Pixel Perfect Software Solutions (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grass X. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and approve any purchase.

2. What the App does

Grass X uses artificial intelligence to identify grass types, diagnose lawn disease, weeds and pests from photos, read soil test results, answer lawn care questions, and build a lawn care schedule based on your grass type, location, climate, and the information you provide.

3. AI results are informational only

• AI analysis, diagnoses, identifications, schedules and chat answers are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawn care, agronomy, horticulture or pest control professional.
• Use your own judgment. You are responsible for decisions you make and actions you take on your lawn, property and plants.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. Subscriptions, credits and billing

• The App offers a free tier with a limited number of monthly AI credits, shared between photo analysis and AI chat, and optional paid auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly and yearly) that include more credits. The plans, credits and prices on offer are shown in the App before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (or Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of your plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• If an introductory free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Unused credits do not carry over to the next billing period and have no cash value.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for app store purchases.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, messages and other content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display that content, and to send it to our service providers (including our AI provider), only to provide and improve the App’s features for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep data by law.

You confirm you have the right to submit the content, and that it does not include other people’s personal information without their permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload unlawful, abusive, infringing or sexually explicit content;
• try to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
• use automated means to access the App or its AI features;
• use the AI chat for purposes unrelated to lawn, garden and grass care in a way that abuses the service; or
• resell or commercially exploit the App or its output without our written permission.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics and software, belongs to Pixel Perfect Software Solutions and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the app store rules.

9. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services (for example weather data, AI processing, sign-in and payments). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that following its recommendations will produce any particular result for your lawn.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel Perfect Software Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including damage to your lawn, plants, property or pets resulting from following any recommendation from the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes mandatory consumer rights you have in your country.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we stop offering the App.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
