This Privacy Policy applies to all applications developed and published by 1dot.ai, including but not limited to apps distributed through the Apple App Store (iOS and macOS), Google Play Store (Android), and direct distribution. By using any of our applications, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Account & Personal Data

• Account Data: Email address, username, phone number (if provided for account creation or support).
• Payment Data: Billing name, billing address, payment method details (processed via Apple App Store, Google Play, Paddle, or Stripe).
• Profile Information: Display name, avatar, preferences you set within the app.

2.2 User-Submitted Images & Photos

Some of our applications allow you to capture or select images (e.g., photos of cards, items, or documents) for identification and analysis purposes. When you use these features:

• Camera Access: With your permission, we access your device camera to capture images for scanning and identification.
• Photo Library Access: With your permission, we access your photo gallery so you can select existing images for analysis.
• Image Transmission: Images you submit are securely transmitted to our servers for AI-powered analysis and identification.
• Image Processing: Images are processed by AI/ML services to identify items, extract information, and provide results.
• Image Retention: Submitted images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete, unless you explicitly save them to your collection.

2.3 User-Generated Content & Collections

Our applications may allow you to create and manage personal collections and preferences:

• Collections: Items you add to your personal collection, including details, notes, and associated images.
• Watchlists: Items you add to watchlists for tracking or monitoring.
• Price Alerts: Price thresholds and notification preferences you set for specific items.
• Favorites & Tags: Items you mark as favorites and organizational tags you create.

2.4 Usage & Analytics Data

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers.
• Usage Metrics: Features used, session duration, in-app actions.
• Crash Reports: Error logs and diagnostic data to help us fix issues.
• Local Data: Some apps access local files on your device to provide functionality. This data remains on your device unless explicitly uploaded.

• Directly: When you subscribe, contact support, create an account, or otherwise provide data.
• Automatically: Via our apps and website (analytics, crash reports).
• From Third Parties: Payment processors (Apple, Google, Paddle, Stripe), analytics providers.

Apple App Store (iOS & macOS)

Direct Distribution (macOS)

For apps distributed outside app stores, payments may be processed by Paddle or Stripe, who act as Merchants of Record.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the U.S. or other countries. We use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards to ensure adequate protection.

10. Data Retention

We retain different types of data for different periods:

• Submitted Images (for analysis): Processed in real-time and deleted immediately after analysis unless saved to your collection.
• Collection Data: Retained as long as your account is active or until you delete specific items.
• Watchlists & Price Alerts: Retained until you remove them or delete your account.
• Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Transaction Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and legal obligations.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

11. Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your data:

• Delete Individual Items: Remove specific items from your collections, watchlists, or alerts within the app.
• Delete Collection Images: Remove images associated with your saved items at any time.
• Delete Account: Request complete account deletion by emailing support@1dot.ai or visiting 1dot.ai/legal/delete-account.
• Processing Time: Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.

Upon account deletion, we will delete all personal data, collections, watchlists, and associated images. Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g., transaction records).

12. Security

We implement industry‑standard measures (encryption, access controls) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

13. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We'll post changes here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our applications after changes constitutes acceptance.
